Ingredient List

Base

  • 200g bread flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 125ml tepid water
  • 15g butter/margarine
  • 1/2 sachet of Easy Blend Dried Yeast

Toppings

  • 3 tpsb tomato mix
  • 1tpsb mixed herbs
  • 75g cheese
  • Any topping you want

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 200oC, lightly flour a baking tray

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl place the margarine, flour and salt. Rub in the margarine with the flour.

Step 3

stir in the yeast

Step 4

Mix hot and cold water to achieve tepid temperature and add slowly to the flour mixture. The dough should be soft but not sticky. If the dough is a little dry add a drop of tepid water.

Step 5

Knead firmly for 15 minutes

Step 6

Shape into a ball and on a floured work surface roll the dough into your preferred thickness of base. Place the pizza base onto the floured tray.

Step 7

Arrange the toppings starting with the tomato mix, then cheese and on.

Step 8

Bake in the oven until the cheese has melted and the crust is golden brown for aprox 15 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
