Ingredient List
Biscuits
- 100g plain flour
- 50g caster sugar
- teaspoon vanilla essence
- 100g butter/margarine
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
Cream
- 50g icing sugar
- 25g margarine
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180oC, lightly flour a baking tray
Step 2
In a large mixing bow place the margarine, caster sugar and essence. Using a wooden spoon cream together until mixture is smooth creamy and sugar granules are not visible.
Step 3
Seive in the flour. Mix well using tthe same creaming action until mixtures begin to clump together.
Step 4
Using enough dough to make golf ball sizes or smaller, roll in the palm of your hands until round and smooth.
Step 5
Place well apart on the baking tray, Flatten each one with a fork dipped in cold water..
Step 6
Bake for 10-13 minutes depending on size. leave to cool for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Make the butter cream: sieve icing sugar into a small bowl. Add margarine and cream together with a teaspoon until a smooth paste is formed
Step 8
Sandwich Biscuits together with the butter cream.
